Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to maintain data integrity by specifying the rules that SQL Server needs to enforce. You also learned how to create stored procedures (the equivalent of functions and subs) either manually or through the stored procedure wizard. Finally, you also learned how to use triggers to further control data integrity.

Tomorrow's lesson will look at ActiveX Data Objects (ADO). ADO is the cornerstone of Windows DNA's data access tier. It encapsulates the low-level details of database access and performs very well. Day 6 will guide you through the basics of ADO programming.
