Introducing ColdFusion Log Files

ColdFusion's standard troubleshooting tools will help you track the source of most coding errors you're likely to encounter, but you might eventually encounter problems not addressed by general debugging. Typically, these problems include unidentifiable server errors, Web server compatibility problems, or situations in which things just plain don't work, no matter what you try.

For these rare occasions, ColdFusion's expansive system of log files can help you find out what's going wrong. If you used the default installation paths, you'll find your log files in cfusion\ logs. By default, ColdFusion Server maintains the following logs:
