Viewing File Object Attributes
When <CFFILE> performs any of its supported ACTIONs on a file, it temporarily stores data about the file and the ACTION in a special set of variables. All these special variables use the format #FILE.some_variable#, and they're ideal for tasks such as reporting successful uploads back to the user.
Figure 18.5 shows a modified confirmation page that tells users their UFO photo files have been uploaded successfully. It also uses file object variables to display a few details about the upload.
