Understanding <CFTABLE>
ColdFusion provides a quick-and-dirty way to display query results with its <CFTABLE> tag. <CFTABLE> offers only a limited set of display features as compared to HTML tables, but it's by far the easiest and fastest way to display output data in tabular format. You simply specify the variables you want displayed and supply a few parameters. <CFTABLE> automatically does the rest, creating the necessary table code at the time the data is output dynamically in the user's browser.
