Table and Database Security

While we're on the subject of databases, let's be forthright, responsible developers and briefly consider security issues.

You'll find security covered throughout this book, particularly in the sections on e-commerce. What follows is only an introduction to protecting your database on the Web. After all, I know that by Day 8, "Understanding ColdFusion Studio," when you start building templates, you'll be anxious to put your database right on the Web and start serving up pages. Before you do, there are a few things to consider.
