While we're on the subject of databases, let's be forthright, responsible developers and briefly consider security issues.
You'll find security covered throughout this book, particularly in the sections on e-commerce. What follows is only an introduction to protecting your database on the Web. After all, I know that by Day 8, "Understanding ColdFusion Studio," when you start building templates, you'll be anxious to put your database right on the Web and start serving up pages.
