Summary

In this chapter, we learned about customization guidelines in order to set up our organization's role hierarchy in Salesforce. We discussed profiles in order to restrict user access to certain features available in Salesforce and for data availability. We then went into detail about how user management can be done in Salesforce, and how an individual user can access his or her information. Finally, we discussed the significance of public groups and queues, and how record ownership can be managed in Salesforce.

In the next chapter, we will go through the various concepts related to different security modules available in Salesforce.
