10. Manipulators

A robot’s got to do something, right? Even if it’s as silly as picking up a ball, many robots have a manipulator of some sort—a claw, perhaps, like the one in Figure 10.1. It can be the most complicated part of the robot because of all the required motors and small moving parts.
