Introduction

Skip the intro. Read the book. New users, flip through the book and notice the gray “dots” in the upper corners of some pages, like this page. Those are the only pages you need to read. But do check out the tutorial—I guarantee if you actually work through the tutorial you will have more control over your computer than many long-time Mac users.

Experienced Mac users, use the index and look up what you need. But I guarantee that if you actually read entire chapters, you’ll be amazed at the tips and tricks you didn’t know. I was.

I always write the introduction last, and now I’m really tired. It’s been a long and winding book. I do hope you find it useful.
