Post a File for All Users to Access

In the Users folder, which is on your main hard disk (if you have more than one partition), you see a folder called Shared. Every user on the Mac will see the same Shared folder. So any file that you want everyone to be able to open, copy, or print (depending on the permissions you set), put it in the Shared folder.

Only the user who put a file into the Shared folder can remove that original file. When any other user drags the file out of the folder, the Mac automatically creates a copy of the file. Not even the Administrator can remove a file that another user put in the Shared folder (log in as root, if ...
