Set Up iChat

Set Up iChat The first time you click the iChat icon in the Dock, the Welcome window asks you to enter the information for your iChat account. The “Account Type” pop-up menu lets you choose between using your Mac.com account (if you have one) or an existing AOL Instant Messenger account (called AIM, if you have one; go to www.aim.com if you want to sign up; you don’t need to have AOL to get an AIM account).

If the iChat icon isn’t in the Dock, you’ll find it in the Applications window.
