Chapter 26. Fonts on Your Mac
If you don’t know much about fonts, or typefaces, you probably get frustrated looking at the font list in Mac OS X because you have no idea what all those names represent. So the first half of this chapter shows you what all of your fonts like. Even if you’re a new user you might like to then customize the font panel in TextEdit.
For experienced font users, the last part of the chapter provides the basic technical information about the font changes in Mac OS X and what to do about your font management utilities.
