Chapter 24. Making & Using Favorites

Favorites are files that you have chosen to have easy access to. For instance, maybe you have a folder you save your research papers into, and it’s stored inside several other folders which are inside the Documents folder. If you make the research folder a Favorite, you can save files into it, open it on the Desktop, and even open the folder inside of Open dialog boxes in applications—all with just one or two clicks, instead of having to dig down through the directory. This chapter explains how to use and create Favorites.
