Danger!
All that time your document is in RAM, it is in danger. At any moment, if there is a power failure, even for a split second, or you accidentally hit the wrong button, have a system crash, the screen freezes, your child pulls out the power cord, or any other catastrophe of considerable dimension happens to befall, then everything in RAM (memory) is gone. Just plain gone. No way on earth for a mortal person to get it back. Not even the software that can get files out of the Trash after you’ve emptied the Trash basket can bring back information that only existed in memory.
