You may have grown up typing on a typewriter or you may have grown up word processing on a computer of some sort. Typing and word processing are very similar, of course, in that they use a similar keyboard. The difference is that word processing is much more fun. You can delete text with the click of a button; rearrange single words, paragraphs, or entire pages of text; automatically number all the pages; resize the text so it fills out the requirement for your project; use italic, bold, and different typefaces for emphasis; and much more.
