Using Search to Select Files

You can also use Search to select files from all over your Mac (see Chapter 25 for all the intimate details).

All of the found files will be shown in one Results window, and you can select their icons from that Results window and drag them to the Trash, open them, move them, etc. (Remember, press on one selected item and all selected items will follow.) Make it a point to learn to Search—you’ll discover it comes in handy in a number of ways.
