Folder Icons

Whenever you have a Finder window open, most likely you’ll see folder icons. They act just like folders in your filing cabinet in that you store items in them for organization, and you can open them to see what’s inside. Be sure to read Chapter 10 on folders since they are an incredibly important tool that you will be using constantly.

To select a folder in a window in Icon View, single-click. To open a folder in Icon View, double-click.
