Scroll Bars and Scrollers

Along the right and bottom edges of the window are the scroll bars. The scroll bars allow you to view everything in the document, even if everything cannot all fit on the screen at once or if the window is sized too small.

Scroll bars are huge visual clues. When a blue scroller appears in the scroll bar, that’s a visual clue that there is more information in the window that you can’t see. In fact, how big the scroller is and how much space is above and below the scroller tells you exactly how much you can’t see.
