Eject Media Disk Key

The Eject Media Disk key is not on every keyboard. If you have it, it’s on the numeric keypad (the set of number keys on the right side of your keyboard), the very right-uppermost key. Use the Eject Media Disk key to eject CDs and DVDs: you don’t even have to select the disk, just hit this key. As its name implies, this key only works on CDs and DVDs (media disks, as opposed to data disks); that is, this key will not eject a Zip or Jaz cartridge.

If you don’t have an Eject Media Disk key, try the F12 key.
