So here are my recommendations on what you should spend time doing if you are impatient or your time is very limited. Actually, this is a good way to start even if you have lots of time; there is so much information to be absorbed that it works best to absorb a little now, then come back for more later. It also helps to run into a few problems because then when you discover the solution, the solution actually makes sense.
