Inserting Disks

CDs go in the tray or in the slot with the label-side up. If you have a Zip drive, you’ll use Zip disks to store extra files or copies of files. The Zip disk goes in the drive with the label-side facing up (or toward the top of the drive, if you have an external drive sitting sideways), the round thing on the bottom. The metal end slides in first. See Chapter 18 about ejecting disks.
