A1: Serif faces.
A2: In very large type only.
A3: OS stands for oldstyle and indicates the font includes lovely oldstyle numerals and perhaps some other special characters.
A4: In your Fonts folder, which is in your Library folder, which is in your Home folder.
A5: In the Fonts folder in the Library folder on the main hard disk (not in the System’s Library folder!).
A6: A font where every character is designed to take up the same amount of space as every other character.
A7: Proportional.
A8: No because there is no designed style for either of those fonts.
A9: Yes, Windows .ttf and .otf.
A10: I hope so!
