18. Ejecting Disks
A1: | Drag the disk to the Trash; Select the disk and choose “Eject” from the File menu (or press Command E); Hold down the Control key and click on the disk, then choose “Eject” from the contextual menu; Press F12; Press the Media Eject key. |
A2: | Check the Dock to see if “TextEdit” or other word processing program is open; it might have opened the ReadMe file. Then quit that program. |
A3: | The computer cannot “read” the disk; its icon does not show up on the Desktop. |
A4: | Hold down the mouse or the Media Eject key on restart, or use the paperclip. |
