Apple Menu

The Apple menu is not at all what it used to be. Below is a list of where you can find the comparable features in Mac OS X that you used to find in the Apple menu (some of the following items were eliminated from the Apple menu in Mac OS 9 as well).

To open the Applications folder directly, click once on this icon, found in the Finder window Toolbar. Or use the Go menu, or press Command Option A.

About This Computer: This item is still the first item in the Apple menu, but it’s called “About This Mac.”
