3.5 Final Thoughts

In this chapter, I hope to have inspired the imagination of analysts and reviewers to the wide variety of additional functionality available within the Analyze, Graph, and Clinical > Pattern Discovery menus. One topic I didn’t address in great detail is the ability to generate models using the Fit Model platform, or to use tools contained within the Modeling and Clinical > Predictive Models menus. For example, I could fit Poisson models using Fit Model, including a log (PatientWeek) offset to model the frequency of adverse events while accounting for varying exposures using risk indicators captured at the subject level.
