I ’ve never been accused of being the best planner in the world, but I do know that having a solid project plan and a capable project manager is invaluable to the success of any critical technology project. Working through the plan is where order and execution meet, and in the case of a successful project, these are brought together by a person whose first career might have been as drill sergeant at Parris Island. If you’ve been around your company or the technology world for a while, you may have taken part in other major new IT initiatives or deployments. And now you’re participating in planning and executing an RFID deployment. Congratulations!
