About the Author

Now a Senior Advisor to Goldman Sachs, Steve Kerr was for six years the firm’s chief learning officer. Prior to that, he spent seven years as GE’s vice president of corporate leadership development and CLO, including responsibility for GE’s renowned leadership education center at Crotonville. Steve was previously on the business school faculties of Ohio State, the University of Michigan, and the University of Southern California, where he was Dean of the Faculty and director of the PhD program. Dr. Kerr is a former president of the Academy of Management, the world’s largest association of academicians in management.
