Video Description

In this Revit Families training course, expert author Simon Whitbread takes you on a journey to learn how to create and manage families within the Revit suite of products. Families are powerful objects that share a common set of properties, and are used throughout Revit projects. You will begin with a tour of the Family Editor interface, and discover where the various tools are, and how to access them. You will learn how to create new families, and edit existing ones. Other topics include modelling, managing parameters, templates, and the difference between family types and catalogs. You will get hands on with a few different family types, from furniture to columns, electrical sockets, and pipe fittings.
