So, you know where you want to get to, you have your goals, and you are raring to get going! Where to first? Well, you need a plan.

The Prussian strategist Clausewitz famously wrote: ‘No plan survives first contact with the enemy’.

But we also know:

if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail

It’s really important to get the balance right between having a solid plan of where we want to get to (and how we are going to get there) and making it flexible enough.
