Summary

We've covered a lot of ground in this chapter. We have spent considerable time getting acquainted with Flexbox, the most recent, powerful, and now well-supported layout technique. We have also covered how we can serve up any number of alternative images to our users depending upon the problems we need to solve. By making use of srcset, sizes, and picture, our users should always get the most appropriate image for their needs, both now and in the future.

So far we've looked at lots of CSS and some of its emerging possibilities and capabilities, but only with responsive images have we looked at more modern markup. Let's address that issue next.
