Think back to a time when your design process was fairly arbitrary. For you, it might be when you first started learning web design or perhaps when you went to work for yourself. In the first stages of a project, do you recall the anticipation of putting down the first pixels in Photoshop? Without the overhead of more structured processes, you’d be so excited just to start putting together the header and hero image for the homepage or start toying with how profile avatars and major call-to-action buttons would look.
