Analyzing Workloads

The LSF software can process historical workload data to produce reports about a cluster. The workload data includes information about batch jobs, system metrics, load indices and resource usage. The data obtained from the analyzer can be used for chargeback accounting and generating chargeback reports and invoices. It can also be used to plan for additional computing purchases.

The primary features of the LSF software for analyzing workloads are:

  • Profiles highlighting the number of jobs processed by the system, job resource usage, system metrics, load indices, and resource usage
