When looking at the list of important players in the first edition of this book only two years ago, the changes are remarkable. Many players—important players—from two years ago have gone by way of acquisition. Chief among these are TCI and MediaOne, now parts of AT&T. However, new companies have come into play, thereby showing the robust activity in RBB. This is a list of the players mentioned in this book, as well as a few others. We apologize for any omissions.
