Postproduction of Exterior Scene

The last step is to complete some quick postproduction to one of the exterior renderings. The quick edits will include cropping the image to create better focus, add realistic lawn to the foreground, fix blemishes in textures, and adjust the overall hue and cast of the image.

Fig 41.1: The Photoshop Crop tool is used to create a better proportioned image by cutting out some of the sky. This allows for a better focus on the relevant content of the rendering, namely the building and foreground.

Fig 41.2: An image of lawn in perspective is inserted into the rendering Photoshop file. The lawn areas in the image are masked. The masks (dashed lines) are aligned with the lawn areas of the image. The outlined lawn areas in the image will be cut out and placed into the render.
