Building the Base Model

Part 8 demonstrates the modeling and rendering process outlined in Part 2. The goal is to provide you with a specific context to view how the various tools and settings are used from start to finish (Fig. 33.1, Fig. 33.2). This chapter includes some important things to note about the content found in this part. The remainder of the chapter details modeling and texturing the base model.
