DAVID BELL serves as chair for Harvard Business School’s marketing department and for two of its executive education programs. An expert in retailing, he teaches a second-year elective course in the subject, and his scholarly work in the area has included an investigation into the interplay of pricing, inventory, and location strategies for multisite merchants.
