Afterword
I continue to have a lot of fun in my career. Fulfillment, to me, comes from my engagement and participation in improving leadership, culture, execution and results in the various organizations in which I am presently involved. My biggest joy comes from seeing valuable medical advances occur. Joy also comes from seeing people develop and do good things with their lives.
I keep hearing from colleagues all over the world that, even though they were not direct reports, they got to experience something during their period with me that helps them where they are now. That feels good.
