About the Editors

Lawrence R. Klein, Benjamin Franklin Professor Emeritus of Economics of the University of Pennsylvania; Ph.D., Economics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1944); Nobel Laureate in Economics (1980). Dr. Klein has published widely, as well as edited numerous books. Some of the most current books that he has edited and to which he has contributed articles are Recent Financial Crises (2006, Edward Elgar) and The Making of National Economic Forecasts (2009, Edward Elgar). Dr. Klein is the intellectual father of Project LINK, established in 1969, a global consortium of national economic forecasting, coordinated partly by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Dr. Klein is a Founding Trustee of the Economists for Peace and Security, serves on the Finance Committee and the Human Rights Committee of the National Academy of Sciences (U.S.), and serves on various committees of the American Philosophical Society, among others. Dr. Klein served as a member of the board of directors of W. P. Carey & Co, an investment banking company.

Viktoria Dalko, Ph.D., Economics, University of Pennsylvania (1992). Dr. Dalko is a Global Professor of Finance at Hult International Business School and an instructor at Harvard University, as well as being listed as a VIP of Who's Who Cambridge.
