Bill Pate provided a careful technical edit, not a straightforward task when the platform gets as idiosyncratic as Excel does from time to time. Paula Lowell’s copy edit unmixed my metaphors, got my subjects to reach agreement with my verbs, and gently pointed out those occasions when I accidentally duplicated figure captions.
