Appendix A. Complete System Menu Map
Like all modern digital cameras, the operation of the RED ONE is controlled by a hierarchal system of menus. With the help of Scott Jones from XL Films (www.xlfilms.tv) we present a complete diagram of those menus in this appendix. The current build number has probably changed by the time you’re reading this but in general the camera’s overall command structure changes very little from build to build, so most of this information will still apply.
You’ll notice some round icons at the top of each page. These correspond to the buttons on the back of your RED camera. Pressing one of these buttons initiates the related menu. The options for each button are listed beneath this circular icon. Each successive menu ...
