Step 1: Set Goals

In very simple terms, the need for goal setting can be summarized in one short sentence: If you don’t know what you are shooting for, how are you going to hit your target? When you are setting your goals, set your sights high—extremely high. And don’t fret if you don’t reach your goals on the first try.

If you don’t reach your goals today, you’ll come back tomorrow and try again. Never give up. Further, as you try harder and harder to move outside of your comfort zone, even your failures (that is, those times when you don’t reach your goals) will exceed the successes of most others.
