Introduce Yourself

The second element of a successful cold call script is to introduce yourself. You should be quite accomplished with this and can consider the following statement:

This is Paul Goldner of Sampson Management Company. How are you today? Great!

Introducing yourself is an integral part of the foregoing statement. However, what really makes the statement work is the phrase ''How are you today?'' Remember, you are making a cold call and the prospect knows this. There is a natural barrier between the prospect and yourself.
