Playing .mp3s

Red Hat Linux also comes with several .mp3 audio players. The best player is the xmms client, which features a sophisticated interface and a plethora of features. You can launch this client from a desktop panel menu or from the command line of an X11 terminal window, like this:

						# xmms &
					

Click the Open Tray button (upward-pointing arrow button), and you'll see a select file dialog, as shown in Figure 8.16.

Scroll down with the Shift key held down to select multiple files, or click the Add All Files in Directory button to grab all files for playing. Click OK when finished. ...
