Playing .mp3s

Red Hat Linux also comes with several .mp3 audio players. The best player is the xmms client, which features a sophisticated interface and a plethora of features. You can launch this client from a desktop panel menu or from the command line of an X11 terminal window, like this:

						# xmms &
					

Click the Open Tray button (upward-pointing arrow button), and you'll see a select file dialog, as shown in Figure 8.16.
