2 Defining the boundaries of the records management programme

2.1 Approach

In line with functional appraisal, the records life cycle, and the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, the records management programme will take a holistic approach to the museum’s records, taking into consideration all of its records, across all departments, in all formats, from the foundation of the museum to the present day.
