Random Secrets of the Reality Trade

Given the open-book nature of reality television, it is hard to imagine that there are any secrets whatsoever associated with this industry. Incredibly, though, there are scores of random secrets—or should I say, little-known tricks of the trade—scarcely underused and certainly underappreciated by those looking to labor in this unique business.

Some of the following tips might seem brainless, obvious, amateur, and juvenile. But then again, sometimes reality TV itself can be described the same way.
