Chapter 6. XML and Advanced Text Processing

ONE CENTRAL PART OF THE RSSREADER application is the XML files that are used to store and display the information. In the previous chapter, the examples were based on the assumption that I would be transferring HTML files rather than XML files. To complete the application, I will need to be able to get the RSS files in multiple formats and convert them into HTML for display in the HTMLViewer control. Because I am viewing the raw XML data as well, I would also like to add some source code highlighting that will make the original XML documents easier to read. Altogether, this refinement of the application will require a closer look at text processing, with a much closer look at the XML classes, encoding, ...
