12.3. Interop Efforts

Over the past few years there have been numerous Web services interop efforts. The most successful organized effort was started by Tony Hong of xmethods.net, who created an online forum for builders of SOAP toolkits to test interop and communicate and resolve issues. This forum is known as the SOAPBuilders email list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/soapbuilders/.[2] The actual interop testing is being done in rounds with each round progressively covering more sophisticated features and specifications than the preceding round.
