Comment and Review

When you collaborate with other content creators, you may find it saner to send PDF files for them to review, rather than clogging their in-boxes with InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator files. And rather than suffer through faxing marked-up copy (“Is that a blob or a comma?”) or the cost of couriers, you can streamline the collaborative process by using the commenting and review features built into Acrobat.

Acrobat 9 Standard, Pro, and Pro Extended all contain extensive mark-up tools, which mimic real-life markup tools such as sticky notes, highlighters, and markers. You can choose a single tool by selecting Tools > Comment & Markup, or choose Tools > Comment & Markup > Show Comment & Markup Toolbar (Figure 12.8).
