Using Native Files
One of the joys of InDesign is its ability to use native Photoshop, Illustrator, and PDF files. There’s certainly nothing wrong with using old-fashioned TIFF and EPS files, but there are advantages to using native files, including the ability to maintain live transparency and to keep layers aloft.
