FreeHand users who made the switch to Illustrator have long lamented the lack of multiple page support in Illustrator. Over the years, we’ve used the Page Tiling feature as a kludgy solution, but Illustrator CS4 offers an even more intuitive and flexible approach—multiple artboards.

The single artboard in previous versions of Illustrator represented an imaginary piece of drawing paper, and its relationship to actual artwork could be a bit confusing.
