Releasing on Videotape and DVD

Whether you need to deliver a video recording to one person or millions, VHS videotape and DVD may be the media of choice. These familiar formats have a lot going for them: They're inexpensive, highly portable, and most people have players already in place.

These channels are especially important for distributing noncommercial and low-volume programs. If you can't (or don't want to) put your show on commercial TV, you can still distribute your project via the post office, parcel delivery service, or even by pounding the pavement and making deliveries yourself.
